Purpose

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium provides leadership development programs designed to improve health of Alaska Natives through improving leadership skills and abilities through training, coaching, mentoring, and practical experience.

Programs:

  • Pathways to Leadership
    • Open to individuals at every stage of their career
    • Nine months from September 15, 2026 to May 27, 2027
    • Participants attend monthly core trainings, meet with a mentor, attend a leadership-level meeting, and create a leadership e-portfolio
    • Graduates earn a Certified Supervisor Certification and can receive continuing education credits or undergraduate credits
  • Leadership Excellence through Advancement and Determination (LEAD)
    • Open to current employees, designed for those ready to lead with confidence and make a lasting impact across the Alaska Tribal Health System
    • Nine months from September 15, 2026 to May 27, 2027
    • Applying leadership skills to real workplace situations
    • Practicing communication, decision-making, and problem-solving
    • Learning from peers, facilitators, and guest leaders
    • Connecting individual growth to team and organizational impact
  • Alaska Native Executive Leadership Program (ANELP)
    • Nine months from September 15, 2026 to May 27, 2027
    • Monthly mentorship meetings with seasoned leaders to refine vision and strategy
    • A personalized development plan, tailored to individual growth goals
    • Direct interaction with executive leadership, integrating classroom learning with organizational strategy
    • Nine modules (one credit each) toward an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA)
