Purpose

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) Board of Directors provides scholarship support to full-time and part-time Alaska Native and Native American students interested in working in a healthcare related field, including but not limited to:

  • Clinical (nursing, provider, nursing assistant, medical assistant, respiratory therapy, etc.)
  • Behavioral health
  • Engineering
  • Business
  • Public health
  • Trades
Eligibility

Eligible applicants are Alaska Native or American Indian students who are permanent Alaska residents enrolled full-time or part-time in higher education and are interested in pursuing a career in a healthcare related field.

Amount of funding

10 scholarships of $5,000 are available for full-time students and 10 scholarships of $2,500 for part-time students.

Scholarships may be used to cover the cost of tuition, books, fees, room and board.
