Purpose

The University of Rochester Medicine Recovery Center of Excellence provides technical assistance (TA) for rural communities to help with initiatives that address substance use disorder (SUD).

Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Confronting stigma
  • Naloxone delivery
  • Suicide prevention
  • Evidence-based SUD treatment
Eligibility

Communities, healthcare providers, and human services providers working with individuals with substance use disorders are eligible to participate.

The Center partners with specific counties in the Appalachian region to implement evidence-based practices and assists rural communities across the U.S. who are implementing their own programs.
