Purpose

The Rural Nebraska Nursing Fellowship is available to students enrolled in the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing and with an interest in rural health and/or long-term care. Selected students must:

  • Maintain a 3.0 GPA
  • Commit to a structured learning plan in addition to regular coursework
  • Commit to a 2 year employment agreement with assigned clinical facility
Eligibility

Eligible applicants must be accepted to the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing on one of the Norfolk, Kearney, or Scottsbluff campuses.

Full tuition plus a living stipend.

Application process

Applications are accepted every fall and spring semester until all fellowship spots are filled. The application is available on the program website when applications are being accepted.
