Improving Healthcare Systems Research Grants
Offers funding to research the comparative effectiveness of innovative features of healthcare systems; such as use of innovative technology, deployment of personnel, incentives, and organizational policies; that affect quality, outcomes, and/or efficiency of care. Studies that examine effects on certain populations, including low-income and rural populations, will receive priority.

Minnesota Small Hospital Improvement Program (SHIP)
Coordinated state application to HRSA Federal Office of Rural Health Policy on behalf of the needs of Minnesota’s small rural hospitals. Funds may be used to purchase items from the SHIP Purchasing Menu in the categories of value based purchasing, accountable care organization, payment bundling, or care transitions.

Medicare Program: Next Generation Accountable Care Organization (ACO) Model Inactive
