Invest Appalachia Fund
Loans and technical assistance to support sectors and industries that are driving economic diversification, local ownership, and community wealth building in Central Appalachia.

Louisiana Community Crisis and Disaster Response Grants
Grants for front-line organizations in Louisiana that work to meet immediate needs and help communities and families recover, with a specific emphasis on kids of high need and community level efforts to improve well-being. Currently, funding is allocated to respond to the impacts of hurricanes and the ongoing impacts of COVID-19 on the state of Louisiana.

Multifamily Housing Loan Guarantees
Loan guarantees for qualified private-sector lenders to provide financing to qualified borrowers with the intent of increasing the supply of affordable rental housing for low to moderate income individuals and families in eligible rural areas and towns.

Nebraska Center for Rural Affairs Loan and Business Development Programs
Loans, training, technical assistance, and other development services for small businesses in rural Nebraska communities. Eligible recipients of program services may include healthcare providers, healthcare and social determinants of health related businesses, nonprofit human services providers, public agencies, and tribal communities.

North Dakota Rural Housing Development Loan Program
Low-interest, short-term loans to be used for predevelopment soft costs, land acquisition, site development, and any other cost associated with producing housing in rural and difficult to develop areas of North Dakota.

Oweesta Native CDFI Loan Funds and Technical Assistance
Oweesta is an intermediary organization that provides financial products and development services for Native Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs). The primary goal is to support Native CDFIs so that they have the capacity to assist individuals, businesses, and organizations with financing and technical assistance for the development of small businesses, affordable housing/home ownership, community facilities, financial education programs, and agriculture/food sovereignty in Native communities.

Rural Community Grant Fund
Grants to fund infrastructure improvement and development initiatives for housing projects; health, safety, and environmental programs; medical facilities; and educational programs.

Section 108 Loan Guarantee Program
Funding that provides communities with a source of financing for economic development, housing rehabilitation, public facilities, and physical development projects, including improvements to increase resilience against natural disasters.

Southeast Rural Community Development Loan Fund Program
Community development loans to local governments, public service authorities, user associations, nonprofit organizations, and other community entities for the development and/or construction of large-scale community projects.

Sunderland Foundation Grants
Supports capital improvement and one-time special projects in the areas of higher education, human services, arts and culture, and healthcare and hospitals. Grants have been awarded in rural areas.
