Rural Health Integration Models for Parents and Children to Thrive Inactive
Funding for a single entity to identify and support 3 demonstration sites through intensive technical assistance and training, as well as provide universal technical assistance to the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting and Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems Programs. A significant focus of the program is on improving early identification of and intervention for families, with children ages birth to 3, who have experienced or are at-risk for adverse childhood experiences, maternal depression, other mental health issues, substance use disorders including opioid use, as well as other factors that lead to poor health and social outcomes for rural families.
