The program is intended to reduce fatality rates on rural transportation infrastructure and increase access to jobs and healthcare through enhanced transit options and improved facilities.

Grants to implement and provide housing and trauma-informed, victim-centered services for victims of human trafficking, including victims in tribal and rural communities.

Community Economic Development Focus on Social Enterprises Inactive
Grants to provide technical and financial assistance to support organizations willing to create or expand social enterprises that will work to reduce personal or community barriers and provide economic support through the creation of employment and business opportunities for individuals and families with low income. Bonus points will be given to projects that create jobs in rural communities and counties of persistent poverty.

Rural Health Integration Models for Parents and Children to Thrive Inactive
Funding for a single entity to identify and support 3 demonstration sites through intensive technical assistance and training, as well as provide universal technical assistance to the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting and Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems Programs. A significant focus of the program is on improving early identification of and intervention for families, with children ages birth to 3, who have experienced or are at-risk for adverse childhood experiences, maternal depression, other mental health issues, substance use disorders including opioid use, as well as other factors that lead to poor health and social outcomes for rural families.

Office for Victims of Crime American Indian/Alaska Native Training and Technical Assistance Program Inactive
Funding for technical assistance providers to offer resources and coordination to increase the ability of tribal communities to provide comprehensive, culturally appropriate, and victim-centered services designed to foster dignity and spiritual, mental, and physical health in crime victims, their families, and the community.
