Grants to implement evidence-based programs to support individuals in substance use disorder treatment and recovery to live independently and participate in the workforce. Projects should focus on equity for rural, tribal, and other underserved populations.

Community Economic Development Projects Inactive
Grants to Community Development Corporations (CDCs) for projects designed to address the economic needs of low-income individuals and families through the creation of employment and business opportunities, including expansion or construction of clinics and health centers. Priority points will be given to projects that create jobs in rural communities and counties of persistent poverty.

Treatment for Individuals with Serious Mental Illness, Serious Emotional Disturbance or Co-Occurring Disorders Experiencing Homelessness Inactive
Grants to eligible entities to provide comprehensive, coordinated and evidenced-based services for individuals, youth, and families with a serious mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, or co-occurring disorder, who are experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness.

Yield Giving Open Call Inactive
Unrestricted awards for community-led, community-focused organizations working to advance opportunities for individuals and families of meager or modest means, and groups who have met with discrimination and other systemic obstacles. Examples include organizations providing access to healthcare, stable and affordable housing, education and job training, support for sustained employment, asset ownership, and civic engagement.

HUD Section 4 Capacity Building Grants: Rural and Tribal Communities Inactive
Grants to build the technical and administrative capacity of community development corporations, community housing development organizations, and Native American organizations to carry out community development and affordable housing activities.

Supporting Vulnerable and At-Risk Youth Transitioning Out of Foster Care Inactive
Funding for pilot demonstration projects to develop, implement, and build replicable treatment models for residential-based innovative care, treatment, and services for adolescents and youth transitioning out of foster care who have experienced a history of foster care involvement, child poverty, child abuse or neglect, human trafficking, juvenile justice involvement, substance use or misuse, or gang involvement. The program has an interest in providing services for youth in rural areas.

HUD Community Compass Technical Assistance and Capacity Building Inactive
Funding for technical assistance and capacity building activities to help organizations implement HUD programs successfully and sustainably, as well as provide effective administrative and managerial oversight of HUD funding. This includes building the capacity of rural organizations that provide services in the areas of housing, housing counseling, economic empowerment, educational advancement, health, wellness, and family self-sufficiency.

Grants for the Benefit of Homeless Individuals (GBHI) Inactive
Grants to support the development and/or expansion of local implementation of a community infrastructure that integrates behavioral health treatment and services for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental and substance use disorders, permanent housing, and other critical services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

Oregon Justice Reinvestment Equity Program (JREP) Learning Community Inactive
A learning community for culturally specific and culturally responsive organizations committed to reducing incarceration, promoting healing, and advancing community safety in Oregon.

Community Economic Development Focus on Energy Communities Inactive
Grants for projects aimed at business development opportunities and creating employment for low-income individuals located in energy communities that have experienced employment loss and/or economic dislocation because of declines in the fossil fuel industry and/or are disproportionately reliant on fossil fuel energy production or distribution. Bonus points are given to projects that create jobs in rural and tribal communities.
