Family Violence Prevention and Services Discretionary Grant Program - National Indian Resource Center Addressing Domestic Violence (NIRC) Inactive
Funding to a single entity to establish and maintain a National Indian Resource Center Addressing Domestic Violence and Safety for Indian Women (NIRC). The NIRC will provide technical assistance and training resources for tribes and tribal organizations to enhance their capacity to respond to domestic violence; enhance the intervention and prevention efforts to increase the safety of indigenous women; and coordinate activities with other federal agencies, offices, and grantees that address the needs of American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians that experience domestic violence.

Supporting Tribal Youth: Training, Technical Assistance, and Youth Leadership Inactive
Two cooperative agreements to tribal youth training and technical assistance providers under two categories: 1) To provide culturally based, trauma-informed training, support, and related technical assistance to build capacity to develop, improve, and/or maintain their juvenile justice system; and 2) To enhance tribal efforts to develop youth leadership skills and support action related to juvenile justice issues, delinquency prevention, and public safety issues in Indian country.

Preventing Violence Affecting Young Lives Inactive
Funding to implement community and societal level strategies that address social determinants of health and racial inequity to prevent violence impacting adolescents and young adults in areas with high rates of violence. This includes youth violence, teen dating violence, and other adverse childhood experiences, as well as conditions that put communities at greater risk for violence, such as concentrated poverty, limited educational attainment, high unemployment, and racial inequity. Priority consideration will be given to projects that focus on rural, American Indian/Alaska Native, and economically disadvantaged communities.

Enhancement and Expansion of Treatment and Recovery Services for Adolescents, Transitional Aged Youth, and their Families Inactive
Grants to enhance and expand comprehensive treatment, early intervention, and recovery support services for adolescents, transitional aged youth, and their families/primary caregivers with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring substance use and mental disorders.

Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) Program for Professionals Inactive
Grants to develop and expand experiential training opportunities, such as field placements and internships, to improve the distribution and supply of the behavioral health workforce. The program emphasizes relationships with community-based partners to increase access to quality behavioral health services across the lifespan in high need and high demand areas. Special focus is placed on demonstrating knowledge and understanding of the specific concerns for children, adolescents, and transitional-aged youth who are at risk for behavioral health disorders.

Enhancing Community Responses to America's Addiction Crisis: Serving Our Youngest Crime Victims Inactive
Funding to support direct crime victim services for children and youth impacted by the opioid epidemic. Funding for a single training and technical assistance provider for direct services grantees is also available through this program.

Specialized Housing and Services for Victims of Human Trafficking Inactive
Grants to implement and provide housing and trauma-informed, victim-centered services for victims of human trafficking, including victims in tribal and rural communities.

Using Telehealth to Improve Care, Access, and Quality of Sexual Assault Forensic Exams Inactive
Grants to enhance the care for sexual assault victims, improve access and quality of forensic examinations, and expand access to the expertise of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners through telehealth technology for communities with limited access.

National Quality Improvement Center for Preventive Services and Interventions in Indian Country Inactive
A 5-year cooperative agreement to establish a national Quality Improvement Center on the prevention and intervention of child abuse and neglect in American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities.
