Funding for state Medicaid agencies to test the impact of a value-based payment model supporting an integrated care delivery framework in specialty behavioral health organizations and settings for adults with severe mental health conditions and/or substance use disorders.

Loan repayment assistance for mental healthcare professionals who are providing direct care in a qualified facility in California.

Steven M. Thompson Physician Corps Loan Repayment Program
Loan repayment assistance for physicians and surgeons who agree to practice in eligible Health Professional Shortage Areas and qualified facilities in California.

Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA) Grants
Grants to support the efforts of current and former Drug Free Communities grant recipients to prevent substance use among youth by addressing local drug crises and emerging drug use issues. The focus is on prevention of opioid, methamphetamine, and prescription drug use among youth, including activities targeting rural and tribal communities.

Great Plains Center for Agricultural Health Pilot/Feasibility Projects Academic Track
Grants for academic/scientific investigators and those newly interested in agricultural safety and health research. Funding will support projects that address occupational hazards relevant to farmers and farm workers in the Great Plains region, with a focus on projects addressing work-related stress and mental health; the prevention of slips, trips, and falls; equipment/tool safety; and chemical safety.

Texas Primary Prevention of Cancer
Funding to implement evidence-based strategies to ensure that all Texans benefit from cancer prevention knowledge. Projects will include interventions to reduce cancer risk, disease burden, and cancer disparities and address social determinants that contribute to cancer burden and disparities. Applications must include the delivery of interventions to non-metropolitan (rural) and/or medically underserved counties in the state.

Staff Sergeant Fox Suicide Prevention Grants
Community-based grants for eligible entities to provide or coordinate the provision of primarily non-clinical suicide prevention services to eligible veterans and their families.

Suicide Prevention ESSENCE Rapid Response Plans
Funding for the utilization of surveillance data for suicide prevention in Tennessee using the Electronic Surveillance System for the Early Notification of Community-Based Epidemics (ESSENCE) database and alert system. Grants will support rural health councils to develop and implement county-level response plans for when an ESSENCE alert is received.

Duke Endowment Health Care Grants
Funding for organizations in North Carolina and South Carolina working to address access to care, maternal and infant health, mental health, oral health, population health, and workforce development.

Garrett Lee Smith State/Tribal Youth Suicide Prevention and Early Intervention Program
Funding to support states and tribes with implementing suicide prevention and early intervention strategies for youth up to age 24.
