Reimbursement funding to establish new residency programs by facilities operated by Indian Health Service (IHS), Indian Tribes, tribal organizations, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), Department of War (DoW), and other healthcare facilities located in areas designated as underserved by VA, including rural and frontier areas.

Muktuk Marston Foundation Fund
Grants for charitable, literary, educational, scientific, and food security projects that benefit Alaska Natives who live west of the 156th Meridian.

Promoting Indigenous Research Leadership
A 3-day workshop designed to promote the public health research careers of Indigenous and other early-career faculty working with Indigenous communities across the country.

Tribal Agriculture Fellowship (TAF)
Fellowships to help Native students achieve their educational goals leading to careers in agriculture.

Tribal Colleges Research Grants Program (TCRGP)
Grants to tribal colleges and universities for research projects that address concerns and needs of tribal and reservation communities, including projects that focus on health, food, nutrition, and agricultural production research.

Intervention Research to Improve Native American Health (R01 and R34 Clinical Trials Optional)
Funding to support research designed to improve health in Native American populations. Proposed research may address health promotion, disease prevention, treatment, recovery, or services research to inform intervention implementation and dissemination, and it must engage tribal partners and communities.

AmeriCorps State and National Grants
Funding for programs that are designed to strengthen communities and solve local problems, including those found in rural and tribal areas. Funding priorities include concentrated poverty, faith-based organizations, services for veterans, access to youth mental health and substance use services, public safety, outdoor recreation, and support for families.

Native American Congressional Internship
A summer internship for Native American and Alaska Native students who wish to learn more about the federal government and issues affecting tribal and federal relationships.

Tribal Undergraduate to Graduate Research Training and Leadership Experiences (TURTLE) Program (UE5 and T32/T34)
Funding for tribal entities to support educational and mentoring activities that complement and/or enhance the training of a workforce to meet the nation's biomedical, behavioral, and clinical research needs.

Tribal Institutional Review Board Establishment and Enhancement (TIRBEE) (R24 - Clinical Trial Not Allowed)
Funding to support federally recognized American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) Tribes, tribal colleges and universities, tribal health programs, or tribal organizations (collectively, eligible tribal entities) to establish Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) or enhance the capacity of existing tribal IRBs.
