Local Food Promotion Program
Grants to intermediary organizations to support the development, coordination, and expansion of local and regional food business enterprises to help increase access to locally and regionally produced agricultural products. Priority will be given to projects that benefit communities located in low income/low food access census tracts.

Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Expansion, Early Head Start Expansion, and Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership Grants
Funding to operate Head Start and Early Head Start programming for migrant and seasonal families, leveraging existing local resources to provide a comprehensive array of health, mental health, nutrition, and social services for children and their families.

Native Public Health Resilience
Grants to support tribes and tribal organizations in implementing or expanding essential public health services and to strengthen tribal public health management capabilities.

Native Public Health Resilience Planning
Grants to carry out planning activities for tribes and tribal organizations to determine if developing a public health program that will implement essential public health services for their community is practicable.

The Gus Schumacher Nutrition Incentive Program Competitive Grants
Funding to support projects that will increase the purchase of fruit and vegetables among low-income consumers who participate in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program by providing incentives at the point of purchase. Projects that serve underrepresented geographies and communities are encouraged.

Community Level Innovations for Improving Health Outcomes
Grants for projects that demonstrate community level innovations to increase use of preventive health services, improve health outcomes, and reduce health disparities driven by social determinants of health.

Mental Health Service Professional Demonstration Grant Program
Grants to support and demonstrate innovative partnerships to train school-based mental health services providers for employment in high need schools and local educational agencies.

Rural and Small Department Violent Crime Reduction Program
Grants to strengthen the capacity of small/rural law enforcement agencies and prosecutors to combat violent crime by implementing critical elements from BJA-developed guides, which include strategies and services to mitigate the risk for violent behavior in individuals dealing with mental health and/or substance use disorders.

Safe and Supportive Schools: Mental Health Service Professional (MHSP) Demonstration Grant Program
Grants to support and demonstrate innovative partnerships to train school-based mental health services providers with the goal of increasing the number and diversity of high-quality, trained providers available to address the shortages of mental health service professionals in high need schools. Small, rural schools fall under the definition of high need local education agencies, and partnerships with historically Black colleges and universities, tribal colleges and universities, and other minority serving institutions are a program priority.

Southwest Agricultural Health, Injury Prevention, and Education Pilot/Feasibility Program
Funding for research projects to promote health and safety in agriculture, forestry, and fishing (AgFF) occupations in the southwest region.
