ACF: Proposed Information Collection Activity; Comment Request Federal Register
Feb 28, 2018 - The Administration for Children and Families is seeking comment on a new information collection to help evaluate the tribal home visiting program. The Multi-site Implementation Evaluation of Tribal Home Visiting (MUSE) will be completed in an effort improve services and identify factors that lead to successful programs. Comments on the information collection must be submitted within 60 days of this notice.

Inside the Native American Foster Care Crisis Tearing Families Apart
Feb 7, 2018 - Native American (NA) kids are placed in foster care at a rate 2.7 times greater than their proportion in the general population, but for a number of reasons there are a shortage of NA foster parents. This forces agencies to place NA children into non-NA homes, which can create disputes between the tribe and the foster family about the future of the child and what is in their best interests.
