Description
Serves as the State Office of Rural Health (SORH) for
Illinois and works to improve access to primary healthcare
in rural and underserved areas in the state. Provides
consultation and technical assistance to community-based
organizations, serves as an information clearinghouse on
rural health issues, and administers scholarship programs
for students in the health professions.
