the Critical Access Hospital (CAH) Medicare Rural Hospital
Flexibility (Flex) Program and the Small Rural Hospital
Improvement Program (SHIP). Works within the Indiana State
Department of Health's Office of Primary Care.
Iowa State Office of Rural Health and Primary Care
Helps rural communities and organizations build rural health infrastructure. Supports
health systems programming to enhance effectiveness and eliminate health disparities. Provides rural health advocacy and outreach, coordination of rural health resources, and consultation to healthcare communities and providers in rural Iowa.
Kansas Office of Primary Care & Rural Health
Aids rural and medically underserved communities in Kansas
and helps build sustainable access to quality,
patient-centered primary healthcare services. Focuses on
supporting the primary care and rural health workforce,
connecting local providers and partners to resources and
programs, and strengthening system-wide performance
Kentucky Office of Rural Health
Partners with hospitals, community organizations, and nonprofit groups, in promoting healthcare in rural Kentucky. Located in the Center of Excellence in Rural Health at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Maine Office of Rural Health and Primary Care
Manages health personnel recruitment and retention programs and provides technical assistance for communities to receive grants that benefit health care and rural areas; facilitates communication on rural health issues among providers, consumers and government programs.
Maryland Office of Rural Health
Collects and disseminates information within the state, coordinates rural health interests and activities across the state, and provides technical assistance to attract more federal, state, and foundation funding for rural communities.
Massachusetts Office of Rural Health
