Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS)

Provides community health and prevention programs. Includes programs for persons with developmental disabilities, mental illness, or substance abuse problems. Oversees programs for medical assistance, healthy child, WIC, migrant head start, refugee and immigrant services, school health, employment, and other family services for low-income families.
