Impact of Medicaid Managed Care, Race/Ethnicity, and Rural/Urban Residence on Potentially Avoidable Maternity Complications: A Five-State Multi-level Analysis
Reports findings from a study that examined pregnancy-related complications using Potentially Avoidable Maternity Complications as an indicator of access. Development of a Methodology for Assessing the Effect of a Lay Home Visitation Program for Rural High-Risk Women and Infants
Describes a small pilot study evaluating the effectiveness of a home visitation program using lay health workers. Describes the approach used to evaluate the Low Country Healthy Start Resource Mothers Program, a care coordination program for low-income, African American pregnant women and their infants in two rural South Carolina counties.
