Strategic Economic Expansion and Development (SEED) Grants
Grant funding for quality of life initiatives in smaller Kansas counties related to childcare, programming for older adults, community vibrancy, food retail, and libraries.

Mosaic Life Care Foundation Cheryl Portman Scholarship
Scholarship established to reduce the financial burden of medical education while encouraging the next generation of physicians to serve rural communities. Through financial support and mentorship opportunities, the scholarship seeks to attract, develop, and retain medical students who demonstrate a commitment to providing healthcare in communities throughout northwest Missouri and the broader Mosaic Life Care Foundation service area.

Kansas Regional Partnership Grant Program
Grants for eligible providers to participate in collaborative arrangements that promote preventive health and address root causes of diseases, enhance rural providers' efficiency and sustainability, attract and retain a high-skilled healthcare workforce, spark growth of value-based care models, and foster the use of innovative technologies. Funds must be used for the development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of approved regional partnership activities consistent with program requirements.

Kansas Transformative Capital Investment Grant Program
Grants for eligible providers in rural Kansas to make capital investments to transform the manner in which they serve their communities.

Kansas J-1 Visa Waiver Program
Offers a J-1 visa waiver to foreign physicians who commit to serving for 3 years in an underserved area of Kansas, allowing them to remain in the United States.

Kansas Bridging Plan
Loan forgiveness for resident physicians working in primary care, obstetrics and gynecology, and psychiatry who agree to a continuous 36-month service contract to work in rural areas of Kansas.

Kansas Medical Student Loan (KMSL) and Loan Forgiveness
Loans and loan forgiveness designed to help students cover the cost of medical school in exchange for agreements to practice medicine in Kansas after residency.

National Network of Libraries of Medicine Region 3 Grants
Funding for projects in Region 3 that improve health literacy; increase the ability of the general public to find and use health information; and improve health professionals' access to, awareness of, and skills for locating high quality biomedical and health information. American Connection Corps
A 1-year fellowship program that trains and mobilizes leaders to work in rural and emerging communities to coordinate broadband development and digital inclusion.

Caring for Kansas: Kansas Rural Health Providers Scholarship Program
Scholarship funding to support non-physician rural health professionals across Kansas interested in virtual and in-person continuing education opportunities offered through Kansas Office of Continuing Education and Area Health Education Center (AHEC/OCE).
