Special emphasis is given to programs and organizations that serve populations in local communities. Rural communities have been awarded funding in the past.

Tennessee Perinatal Telehealth Inactive
Grants to develop or expand innovative perinatal telehealth models that strengthen Tennessee's maternal health system, reduce gaps in access to specialty obstetrical care, and support a more coordinated statewide approach to high-risk perinatal services. Projects should serve as building blocks toward a more unified perinatal telehealth system capable of improving patient outcomes, decreasing travel burdens, strengthening referral pathways, and supporting providers in rural and healthcare shortage communities.
