Economic Development Administration American Rescue Plan Funding Programs
Funding to support community-led economic development and to accelerate economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic while building local economies that will be resilient to future economic shocks. Investments made under this program will have an emphasis on equity and will directly benefit previously underserved communities, including Indigenous communities, rural areas, and regions with economies that have historically relied on coal mining. Past Economic Development Administration projects have included infrastructure to support healthcare facilities, health workforce development, and health and human services to assist people with getting jobs.

New Mexico Vaccine Rollout and Community Rebuild Project
Grants and technical assistance for nonprofit organizations serving New Mexico to support vaccine rollout and community rebuilding efforts. Projects should focus on advancing health equity for vulnerable populations that have been disproportionally impacted by COVID-19 including children and families; Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC); rural; low-income; people with disabilities; immigrants; and elderly populations.
