Delta Health Care Services Grant Program
Grants to address unmet health needs in the Delta Region through cooperation among healthcare professionals, institutions of higher education, research institutions, and other entities.

Smith-Lever Special Needs Competitive Grants Program
Funding to enable the Cooperative Extension System (CES) to assist in preparing for, providing an educational response to, recovering from, and mitigating disasters and disaster threats. The program supports innovative, education-based approaches to address disaster preparedness and specific responses related to disasters or disaster threats caused by natural, human-made, technological hazards, or by other factors that contribute to the exposure of or risk to a community.

Farmers Market Promotion Program (FMPP)
Grants to support the development, coordination, and expansion of direct producer-to-consumer markets to increase access to and availability of locally and regionally produced agricultural products.

Local Food Promotion Program (LFPP)
Grants to intermediary organizations to support the development, coordination, and expansion of local and regional food business engaging as intermediaries in indirect producer-to-consumer marketing to increase access to and availability locally and regionally produced agricultural products. Priority will be given to projects that benefit communities located in low income/low food access census tracts.

Regional Food System Partnership (RFSP)
Grants to support partnerships that connect public and private resources to plan and develop local and regional food systems.

Federally Recognized Tribes Extension Program
Funding for extension programs that address the unique needs of tribal communities. Supports the development and delivery of informal education and outreach activities that seek to improve the quality of life and economic well-being of individuals and families on Tribal lands.

Distance Education Grants Program for Institutions of Higher Education in Insular Areas
Grants to institutions of higher education in U.S. territories, commonwealth, and freely associated states designed to strengthen the capacity to carry out resident instruction, curriculum, and teaching programs in the food and agriculture sciences through distance education technology.

Alaska Native-Serving and Native Hawaiian-Serving Institutions Education Competitive Grants Program
Grants to promote and strengthen the ability of Alaska Native-serving institutions and Native Hawaiian-serving institutions to carry out education, applied research, and related community development programs.

The Gus Schumacher Nutrition Incentive Program Competitive Grants
Funding to support projects that will increase the purchase of fruit and vegetables among low-income consumers who participate in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program by providing incentives at the point of purchase. Past awards have included projects that served tribal communities, rural and remote communities, or insular areas.

Rural Health and Safety Education Competitive Grants Program
Funding for community-based outreach education and extension programs at land-grant colleges and universities that provide individuals and families based in rural areas with education and information on health, wellness, and substance use prevention.
