The program targets services to high-risk, vulnerable, and culturally underrepresented youth populations including rural youth and youth living in high teen birth rate areas.

Tribal Personal Responsibility Education Program for Teen Pregnancy Prevention Inactive
Grants to support education projects for American Indian/Alaska Native youth between the ages of 10 and 19, and pregnant and parenting youth under age 21, on both abstinence and contraception for the prevention of pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, and human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. Applicants serving underserved populations and/or remote geographic areas are encouraged to apply.

Alzheimer's Disease Programs Initiative - Dementia Capability in Indian Country Inactive
Grants to support dementia-capable home and community-based services in tribal communities that help individuals living with dementia and their caregivers remain independent and safe.

Family Violence Prevention and Services Discretionary Grant Program - National Indian Resource Center Addressing Domestic Violence (NIRC) Inactive
Funding to a single entity to establish and maintain a National Indian Resource Center Addressing Domestic Violence and Safety for Indian Women (NIRC). The NIRC will provide technical assistance and training resources for tribes and tribal organizations to enhance their capacity to respond to domestic violence; enhance the intervention and prevention efforts to increase the safety of indigenous women; and coordinate activities with other federal agencies, offices, and grantees that address the needs of American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians that experience domestic violence.

Native Graduate Health Fellowship Inactive
Fellowships for American Indian and Alaska Native students pursuing graduate or professional degrees in health-related fields, with a focus on tribal health policy and practices to address Native health disparities.

National Tribal Clearinghouse on Sexual Assault Inactive
Funding to establish a National Tribal Clearinghouse on Sexual Assault to provide training and technical assistance designed to improve victim services for and the criminal and civil justice response to American Indian/Alaska Native sexual assault victims, as well as increase offender accountability for such crimes.

Nursing Workforce Diversity Program Inactive
Funding to assist students from disadvantaged backgrounds in becoming registered nurses using evidence-based strategies to support nursing students from enrollment through graduation. The purpose is to expand and support a workforce to provide quality, culturally-aligned care to rural and underserved communities in need.
