National Tribal Child Welfare Center for Innovation and Advancement Inactive
A cooperative agreement and funding to establish a National Tribal Child Welfare Center for Innovation and Advancement that will serve as the technical assistance (TA) focal point for coordinated and culturally competent capacity building TA to American Indian and Alaska Native nations. The TA provided will enhance organizational and system performance and improve outcomes for tribal children, youth, and families by honoring Indigenous Ways of Knowing (IWOK) and working collaboratively to ensure the preservation of tribal cultures.

Grants to support planning activities for communities seeking innovative ways to address the particular mobility challenges experienced by low-income community members for whom a lack of transportation is an obstacle to the pursuit of economic, health, and social well-being.

Indian Health Service Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention Program: Substance Abuse Prevention, Treatment, and Aftercare Inactive
Funding for tribes, tribal organizations, and urban Indian organizations to reduce the prevalence of substance use and decrease the overall use of addicting and illicit substances among American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) populations. Projects should include care coordination, culturally responsive behavioral healthcare services, and early intervention strategies for AI/AN youth at risk for substance misuse behavior.
