Funding to implement regional centers of excellence to develop and disseminate training and technical assistance addressing opioid and stimulant misuse affecting rural communities.

Services Program for Residential Treatment for Pregnant and Postpartum Women (PPW-R) Inactive
Funding to provide comprehensive services for pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorders (SUD) across the continuum of residential settings that support treatment and sustain recovery. Treatment and recovery support services should be provided to pregnant and postpartum women, who may reside with their minor children while in treatment. Services are expected to be available to persons who are uninsured, underinsured, and persons in rural and highly impacted communities.

Support Families in the Justice System (Justice for Families) Program Inactive
Grants designed to improve the response of the civil and criminal justice system for families with a history of domestic/dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking, and in cases involving child sexual abuse. Priority will be given to projects dedicated to direct victim services and/or criminal justice responses in small towns and rural, remote, and tribal communities.

Tribal Behavioral Health: Suicide Prevention Inactive
Grants for projects designed to prevent suicide, suicide attempts, and deaths by suicide among American Indian/Alaska Native young people up to the age of 24.

Tribal Opioid Response Grants Inactive
Grants to address the overdose crisis in Tribal communities by increasing access to FDA-approved medications for the treatment of opioid use disorder (MOUD), and supporting the continuum of prevention, treatment, and recovery support services for opioid use disorder (OUD) and co-occurring substance use disorders, and stimulant misuse and use disorders, including those involving cocaine and methamphetamine.

Behavioral Health Mobile Crisis Team Partnerships (MCTP) Inactive
Funding to establish new, or enhance existing, mobile crisis teams that serve children, youth, and adults experiencing mental health or substance use disorder crises. Focuses on expanding behavioral health crisis response capacity and the development of structured partnerships that reduce reliance on law enforcement and emergency departments for behavioral health crises.

Circles of Care for American Indian/Alaska Natives (AI/AN) Inactive
Funding for American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) organizations to plan and design a family-driven, community-based, and youth-guided system of care. Recipients are expected to strengthen tribal capacity to promote the mental health and well-being of AI/AN children, youth, young adults, and their families.

CORES Multi-Institutional Pilot Program Inactive
A phased pilot model designed to spark collaborative translational science across a multi institutional network. The initiative will accelerate the development, testing, and implementation of innovative solutions to improve health outcomes, while building strong collaborative pathways to drive meaningful care model transformation in rural communities and position these efforts for national scaling through external funding.
