Michigan Area Health Education Center (MI-AHEC)
Works to improve access to primary and preventive care by recruiting, training, and retaining health professionals in medically underserved and health professional shortage areas in Michigan. Provides clinical training opportunities for health students, provides continuing education programs for health professionals, and prepares disadvantaged youth for healthcare careers. Comprised of 5 regional AHEC centers.
