Mental Health Awareness Training Grants
Grants to prepare and train school personnel, emergency first responders, law enforcement, and community-based agency staff on how to appropriately and safely recognize and respond to individuals with mental disorders. Rural applicants have been awarded grants in the past, and up to 3 awards will be made to tribes/tribal organizations pending sufficient application volume.

Law Enforcement Mental Health and Wellness Act Program
Funding for state, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement agencies to implement new or enhance existing programs that offer training and services to support officers' emotional and mental health, including counseling programs, peer mentoring, suicide prevention, stress reduction, and police officer family services. The program intends to increase grant funding accessibility for small and understaffed departments, especially those in rural communities, to implement mental health and wellness programs.

Kinship Navigator Programs: Replication and Tribal Adaptation
Funding to increase the number of state and tribal child welfare agencies that replicate and implement an evidence-based Kinship Navigator Program (KNP).
