Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention and Surveillance of Blood Lead Levels in Children Inactive
Funding for childhood lead poisoning prevention, surveillance, and the development of targeted population-based policy interventions focused on primary prevention of lead exposure. A major program focus is reducing disparities in blood lead levels and associated health outcomes among populations at greatest risk, which includes Tribal populations and people living in rural areas and other geographically underserved communities.

Preventing Violence Affecting Young Lives Inactive
Funding to implement community and societal level strategies that address social determinants of health and racial inequity to prevent violence impacting adolescents and young adults in areas with high rates of violence. This includes youth violence, teen dating violence, and other adverse childhood experiences, as well as conditions that put communities at greater risk for violence, such as concentrated poverty, limited educational attainment, high unemployment, and racial inequity. Priority consideration will be given to projects that focus on rural, American Indian/Alaska Native, and economically disadvantaged communities.
