Loan repayment assistance for physicians who agree to practice medicine in medically underserved, rural areas of Georgia for at least 12 months.

Minnesota J-1 Visa Waiver Program
Offers a J-1 Visa waiver to foreign physicians who commit to serving for 3 years in an underserved area of Minnesota, allowing them to remain in the United States.

Idaho State Loan Repayment Program
Offers loan repayment assistance to certain healthcare professionals who agree to practice in a Health Professional Shortage Area of Idaho.

California Health Professions Pathways Program: Population Health Investment (HPPP Pop HI)
Funding to support and encourage underrepresented individuals in California to pursue health careers. Outreach and recruitment in rural and other areas is encouraged. Priority goes to programs that have a high percentage of program sites in Primary Care and/or Behavioral Health Health Professional Shortage Areas.

Health Careers Exploration Program (HCEP)
Support for health career conferences, workshops, and health career exploration programs in California. Outreach and recruitment in rural and medically underserved areas/populations is a program priority.

Minnesota Primary Care Residency Expansion Grant Program
Funding to plan, create, and/or expand residency training programs for primary care physicians in Minnesota.

California Song-Brown Healthcare Workforce Training Program: Registered Nurse Education
Grants to support registered nurse training programs in California with a focus on registered nurse shortage areas.

New York Primary Care Service Corps Loan Repayment Program
Loan repayment assistance for healthcare professionals who agree to practice in a Health Professional Shortage Area of New York.

Minnesota Rural Community Clinic Grant Program
Grants to plan, establish, or operate clinical services for low-income populations and/or populations living in rural areas of Minnesota.

Massachusetts General Hospital Rural Health Leadership Fellowship
A full-time fellowship for early-career clinicians who have an interest in partnering with rural communities to improve health. The fellowship includes a Masters Degree in Public Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and focused clinical time in Rosebud, South Dakota at an Indian Health Service site.
