North Central Regional Center for Rural Development Fellows Program
Fellowships for faculty or staff from Land Grant Institutions to collaborate with NCRCRD staff on research and/or outreach projects that will enhance rural development in the North Central Region.

Northwest Native American Research Center for Health Research Training Institutes
Research training programs designed for health professionals and students interested in Native health. Courses emphasize practical skill-building in research, program evaluation, and implementation.

PCORI Ambassador Program
A national volunteer network designed to engage healthcare stakeholders in strengthening the patient-centered outcomes research (PCOR) community and increasing the dissemination of PCORI-funded​ research. PCORI supports research to give patients a better understanding of the prevention, treatment and care options available while considering potential for differences in treatment effectiveness among subpopulations, such as rural residents.

Project Talk Initiative Host Site Applications
Partnerships with community-based organization host sites to evaluate the impact of several approaches to promote advance care planning in underserved populations including those from ethnic and racial minority backgrounds, rural communities and low-income areas. Host sites will be provided tools and trained in facilitating community conversations.

Technical Assistance for Tribal Domestic Violence Programs and Shelters
Technical assistance for tribal domestic violence programs and shelters to build tribal capacity to respond to domestic violence; strengthen advocacy; and improve services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, dating violence, and sex trafficking.

VA Office of Rural Health Funding Programs
Funding, technical assistance, and mentoring for rural VA facilities to implement promising practices and/or enterprise-wide initiatives.

Alaska Indigenous Research Program and Scholarship Inactive
A series of 3 1-week courses that provide Indigenous-centered, cross-cultural health research education and training for students, researchers and health professionals working in tribal health.

PCORI Engagement Award: Capacity Building Inactive
Funds projects that encourage the integration of patients, caregivers, clinicians, and other stakeholders as members of the patient-centered clinical effectiveness research process.

Healthy Eating Research: Supportive and Equitable Policies and Programs Enabling All U.S. Children and Adolescents to Thrive Inactive
Funding for research on supportive family policies and programs with a potential to impact equitable access to nutritious food in communities, nutrition security, diet quality, and improved nutrition and health outcomes. Populations of focus include low income families, and Black, Latino/a, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander.

Ohio EMS Grant Program Inactive
