Community Heart & Soul Planning, Technical Assistance, and Seed Grant Program
Community Heart & Soul is a community development process that engages residents in identifying what matters most to the community and how to build lasting change. Activities and objectives are determined by communities, and projects have included volunteerism, healthcare access, social programs, transportation, broadband, and emergency preparedness, among others. Seed grants are offered to qualifying small cities and towns interested in implementing the Heart & Soul model.

Economic Development Assistance Public Works and Economic Adjustment Assistance Programs
Funding to support the implementation of regional economic development, including public works projects and job creation projects. Past projects have included funding for water and wastewater projects in hospitals and healthcare facilities and road infrastructure projects that would support the expansion of healthcare facilities. Rural communities are a program priority, among others.

Georgia AHEC Scholars Program
A multidisciplinary certificate program for certain health professions students in Georgia that offers opportunities for hands-on training, experience in rural communities, and networking with other students and professionals.

Google's Rural Healthcare Cybersecurity Initiative
Offers eligible rural healthcare organizations access to technology, consulting and support services, and security training resources at a discount or no cost for the purpose of strengthening resilience to cyberattacks.

Idaho Rural Community Investment Fund (RCIF)
Funds for rural areas in Idaho to support economic expansion and job creation.

Microsoft Rural Health Resiliency Program
Assistance to help rural hospitals and other rural facilities keep their health services safe and secure with affordable access to Microsoft security solutions, artificial intelligence, and building cybersecurity capacity.

North Carolina Economic Infrastructure Program
Grants to support infrastructure projects related to drinking water, wastewater, broadband, natural gas lines, railways, and roadways in rural areas of North Carolina.

North Carolina Open Grants Program
Grants for projects that strengthen North Carolina's economy, especially in tobacco-dependent, economically distressed, and/or rural communities in the areas of agriculture, workforce preparedness, and job creation/economic investment, with a particular emphasis on the healthcare sector.

North Dakota Health Information Technology Fund
Provides low-interest loans to healthcare entities in North Dakota for health information technology infrastructure projects.
