Module 4: Implementation Strategies for Rural Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Programs
Each rural health program designed to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is unique, and there is
no one-size-fits-all implementation strategy. Successful programs identify existing resources and best practices
and tailor them to address their community's needs. This module identifies key concepts to consider when
implementing a program to prevent and/or manage COPD.
For a general overview of rural program implementation, see Implementing
a Rural Community Health Program in the Rural Community Health Toolkit.
