Jul 11, 2019 - Mortality rates for non-Hispanic whites are increasing, particularly for those living in rural areas, women, and people ages 25-44, according to a new research study. While mortality rates for screenable cancers and HIV/AIDS have decreased, mortality for drug overdoses, mental and nervous-system disorders, and respiratory disease increased.

Jun 25, 2019 - An updated database provides an interactive map, more data filter options, and customizable email alerts for agricultural injuries data. The project was funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, the National Farm Medicine Center, the Agricultural Safety and Health Council of America, the Dr. Dean Emanuel Endowment, and Marshfield Clinic Research Institute.
