Advanced Nursing Education - Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (ANE-SANE) Program Inactive
Grants to increase the number of registered nurses, advanced practice registered nurses, and forensic nurses trained and certified as sexual assault nurse examiners, with a preference for projects that will substantially benefit rural or underserved populations or help meet public health nursing needs in state or local health departments. The program goal is to train providers to conduct sexual assault forensic examinations, which provide for better physical and mental healthcare for survivors, including trauma-informed care, and better evidence collection.

Behavioral Health Integration (BHI) Evidence Based Telehealth Network Program (EB-TNP) Inactive
Funding to support evidence-based projects that utilize telehealth technologies through telehealth networks to integrate behavioral health services into primary care settings in rural and other communities with shortage designations.

Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program Inactive
Grants to educate and train the primary care and geriatrics workforces to provide age-friendly and dementia-friendly care in integrated geriatrics and primary care sites/delivery systems and maximize patient and family engagement to address care gaps and improve health outcomes for older adults. Proposals that benefit older adults in rural, tribal, or other medically underserved communities/populations are a priority.

Maternity Care Nursing Workforce Expansion (MatCare) Program Inactive
Grants to provide support to accredited nurse midwifery programs to train nurse midwives through trainee scholarships, stipends, curriculum enhancement, and community-based training. The program is designed to grow and diversify the maternal and perinatal health nursing workforce that are prepared to address and reduce maternal mortality and morbidity in rural, tribal, and medically underserved urban communities.

Health Careers Opportunity Program: The National HCOP Academies Inactive
Grants to increase and support opportunities for individuals from underserved backgrounds to enter and graduate from health professions programs. National Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) Academies strengthen the health workforce pipeline in medically underserved and rural areas by providing both academic and social supports to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Integrated Maternal Health Services Inactive
Funding to develop/demonstrate an integrated maternal health services model to support comprehensive care for those who are pregnant or postpartum and have limited access to basic social and healthcare services.

Advanced Nursing Education Nurse Practitioner Residency and Fellowship Program (ANE-NPRF) Inactive
Funding to support transition to practice through the establishment, expansion, and/or enhancement of existing community-based nurse practitioner residency and fellowship training programs that are accredited or in the accreditation process. Awardees must train postgraduate APRNs who will serve in primary care settings with a focus on improving access to quality healthcare for rural, urban, and tribal underserved populations.

Advanced Nursing Education Workforce (ANEW) Program Inactive
Grants to support innovative academic-practice partnerships to prepare primary care advanced practice registered nursing students to practice in rural and underserved settings through academic and clinical training.

Integrated Substance Use Disorder Training Program (ISTP) Inactive
Grants to plan, develop, and operate a training program for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, health service psychologists, counselors, nurses, and/or social workers that trains practitioners to provide care for individuals in need of mental health and substance use disorder prevention, treatment, and recovery services.

Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Nutrition Training Program Inactive
Funding to promote the healthy nutrition of mothers, children, and families by establishing and enhancing Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Nutrition Training Programs to provide training for future and current MCH nutrition professionals and nutrition-focused technical assistance to state Title V and other MCH programs. There is also the opportunity to apply for additional funding for the optional Nutrition Workforce enhancement. Programs should implement a curriculum that provides nutrition-focused clinical preparation in multiple settings emphasizing integration of MCH nutrition services and expanding the reach of MCH nutrition services in rural areas.
