Medication-Assisted Treatment - Prescription Drug and Opioid Addiction (MAT-PDOA)
Grants to expand and enhance access to medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD); increase access to treatment and recovery for individuals with opioid use disorder (OUD); and decrease illicit opioid use, prescription opioid misuse, and overdose. Working with rural and resource-limited communities is listed as a required activity.

Mental Health Awareness Training Grants
Grants to prepare and train school personnel, emergency first responders, law enforcement, and community-based agency staff on how to appropriately and safely recognize and respond to individuals with mental disorders. Rural applicants have been awarded grants in the past, and up to 3 awards will be made to tribes/tribal organizations pending sufficient application volume.

Promoting the Integration of Primary and Behavioral Health Care: States
Funding to improve the health outcomes for people with behavioral health conditions by supporting the adoption and improvement of integrated care models for behavioral and primary physical health at the state level. Tribal, rural, and other medically underserved communities are a program priority. Program eligibility is limited to states and state agencies; however, states must partner at least 1 qualified community program, community mental health center, Rural Health Clinic, or Federally Qualified Health Center.

Rural Communities Opioid Response Program - Technical Assistance (RCORP-TA)
Funding for a single entity to connect rural communities with high-quality, comprehensive, and tailored resources and supports to implement and sustain behavioral healthcare, including prevention, treatment, and recovery services, to address the opioid epidemic and related substance use concerns in rural areas.

Scholarships for Disadvantaged Students (SDS)
Funding designed to increase the health professions and nursing workforce by providing awards to eligible health professions schools for use in awarding scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have a financial need. The program goal is to strengthen the health professions and nursing workforce by supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are more likely to practice in primary care and in rural and medically vulnerable communities.

Mālama Honua Home Improvement/Renovation Program Grant
Funding to support nonprofit partners to administer health and safety-focused home improvement programs for income-qualified Native Hawaiian homeowners who are ineligible for traditional financing. Priority will be given to projects that serve kupuna, individuals who are disabled, and rural households.

Scaling Evidence-Based Falls Prevention Programs
Funding to help communities reduce falls and/or falls risk among older adults and adults with disabilities through the implementation of evidence-based falls prevention programs. Projects must engage populations age 60 and older, prioritizing those with the greatest social and economic need, including rural areas.

Law Enforcement Mental Health and Wellness Act Program
Funding for state, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement agencies to implement new or enhance existing programs that offer training and services to support officers' emotional and mental health, including counseling programs, peer mentoring, suicide prevention, stress reduction, and police officer family services. The program intends to increase grant funding accessibility for small and understaffed departments, especially those in rural communities, to implement mental health and wellness programs.

Appalachia READY Local Governments Training
Training to help local government officials in the Appalachian region better identify, secure, manage, and implement federally funded economic development projects.

Delta Dental Foundation Community Mini-Grants Program
Funding for community-based oral health programs in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana, with special consideration given to programs that promote and/or provide oral healthcare access.
