A fellowship program designed to empower healthcare leaders to bring about lasting change in the hospital and health systems in which they serve. CDC Project Firstline is funding 12 full scholarships of $10,500 each for 12 candidates 5-10 years from the C-suite at a rural hospital or health system and who are committed to transforming infection prevention and control.

American Rescue Plan Provider Relief Fund New Distributions
Relief funds for hospitals and other healthcare providers to support expenses and lost revenue due to COVID-19. The application portal will open on September 29, 2021. $17 billion is available for a broad range of providers who can document revenue loss and expenses associated with the pandemic. An additional $8.5 billion in relief funds is available for providers who serve rural patients.

Medicare Promoting Interoperability Program Hardship Exception Application Inactive
CMS eligible hospitals and Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) may be exempted from the Medicare Promoting Interoperability payment adjustment if they can show that compliance with the requirement for being a meaningful EHR user would result in a significant hardship. Eligible hospitals and CAHs may submit a hardship exception application each year for a maximum of 5 years.

Primary Care First Model Cohort 2 Inactive
Voluntary 5-year payment options that reward value and quality by offering an innovative payment structure to support delivery of advanced primary care. Participating practices will generally include primary care practitioners, as well as other clinicians that are managing complex, chronically ill and seriously ill populations.
