Union Pacific Foundation Community Ties Giving Program: Local Grants
Grants to nonprofit organizations to support direct services and capacity building efforts aimed at improving the quality of life in communities served by Union Pacific in the areas of safety, workforce development, community vitality, and environmental sustainability. Special emphasis is given to programs and organizations that serve populations in local communities. Rural communities have been awarded funding in the past.

Alliant Energy Community Grants
Grants to build stronger communities in Iowa and Wisconsin with focus on hunger, housing, transportation, workforce, environmental stewardship, and community safety and engagement.

Iowa Farm Bureau Sponsorship Program
Sponsorship support for events and fundraisers in rural Iowa. Giving priorities include health and wellness, agriculture, farm families and their communities, and youth education/leadership.

Great Plains Center for Agricultural Health Pilot/Feasibility Projects Academic Track
Grants for academic/scientific investigators and those newly interested in agricultural safety and health research. Funding will support projects that address occupational hazards relevant to farmers and farm workers in the Great Plains region, with a focus on projects addressing work-related stress and mental health; the prevention of slips, trips, and falls; equipment/tool safety; and chemical safety.

Iowa Dental Education Loan Repayment Program/FIND Project
Loan repayment assistance for dentists who agree to serve in a rural or high priority county in Iowa.

Delta Dental of Iowa Grant Funding Programs
Funding for oral health and the integration of oral and overall health with the goal of strengthening and transforming the health and oral health of all Iowans.

Iowa Agricultural Safety and Health Hall of Fame Award
Recognizes individuals or organizations in the public or private sector in Iowa who have made substantial, long-term contributions to the health and safety of Iowa's agricultural community.

Midwestern Public Health Training Center Field Placement Program
A field placement program designed for students in the midwestern region to participate in experiential learning in a public health setting.

North Central Region Extension Collaboration and Implementation Grants
Funding for land grant institutions extension programs working to create resilient communities and economies, developing leadership and civic engagement, and promoting community health and wellness in rural areas of the North Central Region of the U.S.

North Central Regional Center for Rural Development Fellows Program
Fellowships for faculty or staff from Land Grant Institutions to collaborate with NCRCRD staff on research and/or outreach projects that will enhance rural development in the North Central Region.
