A federal-state partnership serving 252 counties and parishes in Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee. Fosters local and regional partnerships that address economic and social challenges to strengthen the Delta economy and the quality of life for Delta residents.

A statewide trade organization dedicated to effectively serving the health care needs of Mississippi, serving those who serve the state's hospitals and their employees.
Mississippi Office of Rural Health
Works to help rural Mississippi communities build productive healthcare delivery systems. Focuses on data collection on rural health needs, policy analysis and development, technical assistance, health manpower recruitment, coordination of rural health interests statewide, and support for rural healthcare facilities. Part of the Mississippi State Department of Health.
South Central Telehealth Resource Center
One of the telehealth resource centers funded by the
federal Office for the Advancement of Telehealth (OAT).
Assists healthcare organizations, networks, and providers
in the implementation of cost-effective telehealth programs
to serve rural and medically underserved areas and
populations. Includes Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
Southern Rural Development Center
Strengthens the capacity of the region's 29 land-grant institutions to address critical contemporary rural development issues impacting the well-being, including health and social services, of people and communities in the rural South. Serves a 13-state area in the Southern region which includes TX, LA, AR, OK, AL, MS, GA, FL, KY, SC, NC, VA, and TN.
