Models for Improving Access to MOUD

Rural populations may experience challenges accessing medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD). This is primarily due to the lack of MOUD providers and long travel distances for rural patients to meet with providers. To improve access to care, rural MOUD programs can provide services through mobile clinics or telehealth.
