Module 5: Evaluation Considerations for MOUD Programs

Evaluation is a tool for monitoring a program's progress over time, measuring impact, and identifying where to make improvements. Evaluating a program providing medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) is critical to ensuring that the program is effective and achieving its goal.

This module provides methods and considerations for evaluating an MOUD program. The Rural Prevention and Treatment of Substance Use Disorders Toolkit includes Evaluation Considerations for Substance Use Disorder Programs, which also apply to MOUD programs.

For a detailed overview of program evaluation, see Evaluating Rural Programs in the Rural Community Health Toolkit.
