Project TRANSAM
A cooperative action program between the Indian Health Service and the Department of Defense that allows for redistribution of surplus medical equipment and supplies for federally recognized tribes.

Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) Renewable Energy Systems and Energy Efficiency Improvements Grants and Guaranteed Loans
Financing and grant funding for agriculture producers and rural small businesses to purchase, install, and construct renewable energy systems or complete energy efficiency improvements. An example of a potential project may be the installation of solar panels for hospitals or clinics to improve energy costs.

SBA 7(a) Guaranteed Loans
Loan guarantees to financial institutions that provide loans to small businesses (including small healthcare practices) for working capital, equipment purchase, real estate purchase, building construction/renovation, business acquisition, and debt refinancing.

SBA Certified Development Company (504) Loan Program: Rural Initiative Pilot Program
Provides small businesses with long-term, fixed-rate financing for major fixed assets, such as land and buildings. 504 Loans are potential options for healthcare practitioners who want to build a new office or expand/renovate an existing medical building. The Rural Initiative Pilot Program waives some small business regulations in order to expand capital access to eligible rural areas.

Section 108 Loan Guarantee Program
Funding that provides communities with a source of financing for economic development, housing rehabilitation, public facilities, and physical development projects, including improvements to increase resilience against natural disasters.

Telecommunications Infrastructure Loans and Loan Guarantees
Loans and loan guarantees for the construction, maintenance, improvement, and expansion of telephone service and broadband in rural areas.

USDA Community Facilities Direct Loan and Grant Program
Direct USDA loans and/or grants to purchase, construct, or improve essential community facilities for healthcare, public safety, education, and public services in rural areas.

USDA Community Facilities Guaranteed Loan Program
Loans from eligible private lenders, guaranteed by USDA, to help build essential community facilities in rural areas.

Community Development Block Grant Program for Indian Tribes and Alaska Native Villages Inactive
Grants for the development of Indian and Alaska Native communities, including housing, public service facilities, healthcare entities, and economic development projects.
