Maternity Care Nursing Workforce Expansion (MatCare) Program Inactive
Grants to provide support to accredited nurse midwifery programs to train nurse midwives through trainee scholarships, stipends, curriculum enhancement, and community-based training. The program is designed to grow and diversify the maternal and perinatal health nursing workforce that are prepared to address and reduce maternal mortality and morbidity in rural, tribal, and medically underserved urban communities.

Nurse Education, Practice, Quality and Retention Simulation Education Training Program Inactive
Funding to enhance nursing education and strengthen the nursing workforce through experiential learning opportunities, including the use of simulation-based technology. Funding should expand the capacity of nurses to advance the health of patients, families, and communities in rural or Medically Underserved Areas.

Primary Care Training and Enhancement-Language and Disability Access (PCTE-LDA) Inactive
Grants to develop curricula and train medical students, physician assistant students, and primary care medical residents to provide high-quality primary care services to individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP) and/or individuals with physical disabilities, and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) with goals of improving health outcomes for these populations. Priority will be given to applicants who can demonstrate that they train residents in rural areas and tribal communities.

Tribal Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program: Implementation and Expansion Grants Inactive
Funding to implement and expand evidence-based home visiting services in tribal communities. The goals of the Tribal Home Visiting program are to support healthy, happy, successful American Indian and Alaska Native (AIAN) children and families through a coordinated, high-quality, evidence-based home visiting strategy, and to continue to build the evidence base for home visiting in tribal communities.

American Indian and Alaska Native Behavioral Health Center of Excellence Inactive
Funding for a single entity to serve as a Center of Excellence to advance behavioral healthcare services for American Indians and Alaska Natives in both reservations and urban communities.

Rural Health Care Coordination Program Inactive
Funding for rural health consortiums to improve and expand delivery of healthcare services through comprehensive care coordination strategies in rural areas. Primary focus areas include: heart disease, cancer, chronic lower respiratory disease, stroke, and maternal health.

Health Careers Opportunity Program: The National HCOP Academies Inactive
Grants to increase and support opportunities for individuals from underserved backgrounds to enter and graduate from health professions programs. National Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) Academies strengthen the health workforce pipeline in medically underserved and rural areas by providing both academic and social supports to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Integrated Maternal Health Services Inactive
Funding to develop/demonstrate an integrated maternal health services model to support comprehensive care for those who are pregnant or postpartum and have limited access to basic social and healthcare services.

Rural Communities Opioid Response Program - Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health (RCORP-CABH) Inactive
Grants to establish and expand sustainable behavioral healthcare services and to prevent substance misuse for children and adolescents aged 5-17 years who live in rural communities.

National Strategy for Suicide Prevention Inactive
Grants to support states and communities to implement suicide prevention and intervention programs for adults, with an emphasis on older adults, adults in rural areas, and American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) adults.
