Kansas Regional Partnership Grant Program
Grants for eligible providers to participate in collaborative arrangements that promote preventive health and address root causes of diseases, enhance rural providers' efficiency and sustainability, attract and retain a high-skilled healthcare workforce, spark growth of value-based care models, and foster the use of innovative technologies. Funds must be used for the development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of approved regional partnership activities consistent with program requirements.

3RNET Recruitment and Retention Assistance
Helps health professionals find jobs in rural areas and assists employers in recruiting and retaining health professionals in rural areas.

A multidisciplinary certificate program for certain health professions students in California that offers opportunities for hands-on training, experience in rural communities, and networking with other students and professionals.

Hawai'i Outreach for Medical Education in Rural Under-Resourced Neighborhoods (HOME RUN)
Funding to support a comprehensive rural healthcare workforce strategy focused on provider recruitment, provider retention, workforce development, mentorship, and healthcare access in rural Hawaii. The program is designed to strengthen Hawaii's healthcare workforce, improve access to care, and support long-term workforce sustainability in rural communities.

Hawaii State Loan Repayment Program
Loan repayment assistance for certain health professionals who agree to serve in a Health Professional Shortage Area of Hawaii.

Louisiana Physician Placement Service: Rural Scholars
Residency and fellowship placement assistance for health career students in Louisiana, with an emphasis on physicians committed to practicing primary care in a rural location in Louisiana following residency training.

North Carolina AHEC Scholars Program
A multidisciplinary certificate program for health professions students in North Carolina that offers opportunities for hands-on training, experience in rural communities, and networking with other students and professionals.

California Health Professions Pathways Program: Population Health Investment (HPPP Pop HI) Inactive
Funding to support and encourage underrepresented individuals in California to pursue health careers. Outreach and recruitment in rural and other areas is encouraged. Priority goes to programs that have a high percentage of program sites in Primary Care and/or Behavioral Health Health Professional Shortage Areas.

Health Careers Exploration Program (HCEP) Inactive
Support for health career conferences, workshops, and health career exploration programs in California. Outreach and recruitment in rural and medically underserved areas/populations is a program priority.
