1890 Institution Teaching, Research, and Extension Capacity Building Grants Program
Grants to 1890 Land-Grant Institutions to support projects that strengthen the research, teaching, and extension capacity needed to advance fundamental sciences, as well as research and development in support of food and agricultural sciences.

South Carolina Health Priority Grants
Grants for projects that that improve health outcomes and decrease health disparities for South Carolina residents, especially the economically vulnerable. Health priorities include oral health, mental health, diabetes, and social determinants of health.

Berkeley Public Health Online Rural Health Innovation Program
Scholarships for public health leaders working in rural communities to attend the online MPH program at Berkeley and participate in a rural health curricula cohort.

Opioid Crisis Innovation Challenge
Funding for projects that bring an innovative approach to long-standing and complex issues related to the nation's opioid crisis. According to the funder, projects should "explore and/or evaluate new outside-the-box ideas, bring together approaches from several diverse fields, and engage multi-disciplinary, cross-sector teams to reduce overdoses, increase access to treatment, and support long-term recovery." Applications that address rural and underserved populations are encouraged.

Rural Emergency Medical Communications Demonstration Project
Funding for a single entity to examine communications barriers and identify solutions that enhance existing emergency communications infrastructure to improve the delivery of rural medical care and address implementation gaps in the National Emergency Communications Plan.

Caring for Communities Grants
Grants to support the work of nonprofit health centers in providing healthcare to disadvantaged communities and populations. Applications from rural communities are encouraged.

Delta Health Care Services Grant Program
Grants to address unmet health needs in the Delta Region through cooperation among healthcare professionals, institutions of higher education, research institutions, and other entities.

Health Equity Leaders Program
Provides health professions students with opportunities to explore health equity service, scholarship, leadership, and policy. Applicants are future leaders who are underrepresented in healthcare, such as American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders, among others.

Alaska Rural Professional Housing Grant Program (RPH)
Funding for the rehabilitation, construction, and acquisition of housing projects that benefit health professionals, teachers, and public safety personnel in rural Alaska.

Colorado Clinics Advancing Health Equity: A Team Approach
Training and technical assistance for primary care safety net clinics in Colorado to help build capacity to engage in diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) work to advance health equity through the lens of racial equity.
