Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program Community Selection
As part of the Continuum of Care program, HUD will select up to 50 communities to participate in the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program to develop and execute a coordinated community approach to preventing and ending youth homelessness. At least 16 of the selected communities will be rural.

Special Tribal Criminal Jurisdiction Grant Program (STCJ)
Grant support and technical assistance for Tribes for planning, developing, and implementing changes in tribal criminal justice systems necessary to exercise Special Tribal Criminal Jurisdiction (STCJ) for covered crimes, which include assault of Tribal justice personnel; child violence; dating violence; domestic violence; obstruction of justice; sexual violence; sex trafficking; stalking; and violation of a protection order.

Native Community Development Financial Institution Relending Demonstration Program
Loans for Native Community Development Financial Institutions to use for relending to increase homeownership opportunities for Native American tribes, Alaska Native communities, and Native Hawaiian communities in rural areas.

Rural Collaborative Opportunities for Occupational Learning in Health (R-COOL-Health) Scrubs Camp
Funding for organizations to provide creative and interactive day-camp activities for students in grades 5-12 designed to increase awareness, interest, and understanding of healthcare careers available in rural North Dakota.

Tribal Colleges Extension Program - Capacity Applications
Grants to build extension program capacity at 1994 Institutions. Funding will support informal, community-based extension projects that address agriculture, youths, economic development, healthy lifestyles, natural resources, and other topics important to Tribal communities.

Tribal Personal Responsibility Education Program for Teen Pregnancy Prevention
Grants to implement culturally appropriate youth pregnancy prevention education programs for American Indian/Alaska Native youth ages 10 to 19 and pregnant youth and parenting mothers under the age of 21.

Agricultural Health and Safety Small Grant Program
Funding for research projects that address agricultural health and safety in Arizona, California, Hawaii, and/or Nevada.

Public Transportation on Indian Reservations Program: Tribal Transit Program
Funding to support planning, capital, and operating assistance for tribal public transit services in rural areas. Among other things, this funding supports partnerships working to expand access to health, medical, and social service providers.

Continuum of Care Competition and Youth Homeless Demonstration Program Grants
Funding for registered Continuum of Care communities to implement coordinated approaches to reduce the prevalence of unsheltered homelessness; and improve services engagement, health outcomes, and housing stability.

Cultivating Connected Communities Prize Challenge
A national prize competition designed to identify and support existing community garden projects interested in extending their outreach to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, people living with paralysis and other physical disabilities, and older adults. Rural and frontier areas are mentioned as having barriers to participating in community activities.
