American Indian Medical Scholarship (AIMS)
Scholarships for students of American Indian, Alaskan Native, and Native Hawaiian descent that are pursuing careers in nursing, healthcare, and health education. The scholarship is designed to assist students who plan to work on reservations or in hospitals that serve Native populations with the goal of improving healthcare within those communities.

Grants to promote and strengthen the ability of Alaska Native-serving institutions and Native Hawaiian-serving institutions to carry out education, applied research, and related community development programs.

The Gus Schumacher Nutrition Incentive Program Competitive Grants
Funding to support projects that will increase the purchase of fruit and vegetables among low-income consumers who participate in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program by providing incentives at the point of purchase. Past awards have included projects that served tribal communities, rural and remote communities, or insular areas.

Indian Health Service Phase 2 Produce Prescription Pilot Program
Funding to establish or expand programs that connect healthcare providers with food systems to provide fruits, vegetables, and traditional foods to eligible participants. Programs are expected to integrate clinical services with community-based food access strategies and community appropriate nutrition education that reflect community values and practices.
