Office on Violence Against Women Training and Technical Assistance Initiative
Grants to provide direct technical assistance for existing and potential grantees and sub-grantees to enhance and support their efforts to successfully implement projects supported by OVW grant funds. This initiative is designed to build and enhance the capacity of civil and criminal justice system professionals and victim service providers to respond effectively to sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking and foster partnerships among organizations that have not traditionally worked together to address these crimes. Rural communities are a program priority.

AARP Community Challenge
Grants for projects that work to improve livability for all residents of a community. The 2026 application cycle will focus on public spaces, housing, transportation, digital connections, and disaster preparedness. Applications from rural communities are encouraged.

Udall Undergraduate Scholarship
Scholarships for Native American and Alaska Native undergraduate students pursuing careers related to tribal public policy, native healthcare, and the environment.

Wisconsin Medical Telecommunications Equipment Grant Program
Funding for nonprofit medical clinics, hospitals, and public health agencies for the purchase of specialized telecommunications equipment designed to augment or enhance the delivery of medical services in rural or underserved areas or to people with disabilities in Wisconsin.

Minnesota Food Retail Improvement and Development Program: Retailer Equipment and Infrastructure Grant
Grants to assist grocery stores and small food retailers in making physical improvements and purchasing equipment in order to increase access to affordable, nutritious, and culturally appropriate food for underserved communities in low and moderate income areas of Minnesota.

Texas Women's Preventive Mobile Health Units Expansion Grant
Operational support for new women's mobile health service delivery sites in rural areas of Texas, expanding access to preventive healthcare and support services.

Reeve Foundation Quality of Life Grants
Grants to nonprofit organizations that provide services to improve the daily lives of people with paralysis and their caregivers. Projects and initiatives should foster acceptance, involvement, community engagement, and health and wellness.

Alaska Capital Improvement Project Grants for Water, Sewer, or Solid Waste Projects
Capital funding for the planning and construction of water and sanitation systems for rural Alaska Native villages to provide safe, clean water and sewage disposal.

Indian Highway Safety Lifesavers Conference Grant
Funding to cover registration and travel expenses for tribal employees of federally recognized tribes who work in traffic safety/enforcement and occupant protection to attend a Lifesavers Conference or other traffic conference.

Iowa Farm Bureau Sponsorship Program
Sponsorship support for events and fundraisers in rural Iowa. Giving priorities include health and wellness, agriculture, farm families and their communities, and youth education/leadership.
