Grants for tribal community-based organizations, tribes, and village governments for social and economic infrastructure development. The program is focused on community-driven projects designed to grow local economies, support local businesses, strengthen families, preserve Native cultures, and increase social development and infrastructure in Native American communities.

Micro-Grants for Food Security Program
Grants to eligible agencies for the competitive distribution of sub-grants that increase the quantity and quality of locally grown food in areas that have significant levels of food insecurity.

Notice of Special Interest (NOSI): Research on the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic and Risks for Abuse and Injury Among Vulnerable Children and Youth
Notice of Special Interest to fund research on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and risks for abuse and injury among vulnerable children and youth. Emphasis is placed on disparity populations related to abuse and neglect prior to the pandemic, as well as populations that have been disproportionately affected by the coronavirus. Disparity populations include American Indians, Alaska Natives, LGBT youth, and children seen at rural emergency departments.

Culture of Health Prize
Awards to honor collaborative, community-based efforts that address systemic barriers to health and well-being and help communities achieve health equity and create a culture of health for all community members.

Garrett Lee Smith State/Tribal Youth Suicide Prevention and Early Intervention Program
Funding to support states and tribes with implementing suicide prevention and early intervention strategies for youth up to age 24 in schools, institutions of higher education, juvenile justice systems, substance use and mental health programs, foster care systems, and other child and youth-serving organizations.

Minority Research Grant Program
Grants to to encourage innovative health services research that can directly contribute to the improvement of health outcomes for people from all minority populations, which includes racial and ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with limited English proficiency, rural populations, and individuals adversely affected by persistent poverty or inequality.

Promoting Indigenous Research Leadership Workshop
A 3 day workshop designed to promote the public health research careers of Indigenous and other early-career faculty working with Indigenous communities across the country.

Notice of Special Interest (NOSI): Dissemination and Implementation Research to Advance Mental, Emotional, and Behavioral Health Preventive Interventions in School Settings
Notice of Special Interest for dissemination and implementation research to support innovative approaches to overcoming barriers to the adoption, adaptation, integration, scale-up, and sustainability of evidence-based interventions to support children's mental, emotional, and behavioral health in school settings. Health disparity populations, including individuals living in rural areas, are a priority.

Southeast New England Program (SNEP) Opportunity to Advance Resilience in Disadvantaged Communities (SOAR)
Funding for planning, implementation, outreach, training, capacity, and staff-building projects in Southeastern New England. Projects should address climate change and the historic, long term impacts of environmental and social injustices in disadvantaged communities. Tribal lands are a program priority.

State-Tribal Partnerships to Implement Best Practices in Indian Child Welfare
Grants for jointly developed projects by state and tribal governments and, where applicable, nongovernmental partners, to develop and operate a plan to effectively implement best practices in Indian child welfare services. The program's overall goals are to preserve families of federally recognized American Indian and Alaska native tribes; protect children; and ensure that children remain connected to their families, communities, and culture.
