Heartland Telehealth Resource Center
One of the telehealth resource centers funded by the federal Office for the Advancement of Telehealth. Assists health care organizations, health care networks, and health care providers in the implementation of cost-effective telehealth programs to serve rural and medically underserved areas and populations. Includes Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

Missouri Association for Community Action (MACA)
Conducts Community Action Poverty Simulations. Advocates Community Action Network priorities, including health care, child care so parents can obtain education to improve their job opportunities, transportation, housing and emergency assistance, and the weatherization assistance program. Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services
Provides information on public health for Missouri. Includes a blog titled Rural Spotlight. Includes an interactive section on locating medical facilities throughout Missouri, including all FQHCs, hospitals, and rural health clinics. Responsible for the licensing of long-term care facilities, administrators, and certified nursing assistants. Oversees the divisions of Rural Community Health as well as Emergency Medical Services.
