Module 5: Evaluation Considerations for Telehealth Programs

Evaluation is a tool for measuring a program's impact and providing information on where to make improvements. Careful evaluation is critical to ensuring that rural telehealth programs are achieving their goals and objectives. Evaluation findings can also facilitate sustainability if they demonstrate a return on investment for telehealth programs.

This module provides methods and considerations for evaluating telehealth programs for rural community health. For a detailed overview of program evaluation, see Evaluating Rural Programs in the Rural Community Health Toolkit or the Conducting Rural Health Research, Needs Assessment, and Program Evaluation topic guide.
