Rural Health and Safety Education Competitive Grants Program
Funding for community-based outreach education and extension programs at land-grant colleges and universities that provide individuals and families based in rural areas with education and information on health, wellness, and substance use prevention.

Rural Hospital Excellence in Innovation Award
Award that honors the accomplishments of rural hospitals that demonstrate responsiveness, innovation, and excellence in developing, implementing, and sustaining programs and services.

Rural Health Agriculture Family-Friendly Training and Designation (AFTD)
A training program designed to address healthcare access among agricultural and rural families. The program educates healthcare professionals about the challenges rural populations and farm families often face, such as limited access to healthcare; stressors, including weather, market fluctuations, and labor shortages; and how to address them.

Northern New Mexico Health Grants
Grants for projects that promote the health and wellness of the people of northern New Mexico. Rural communities are a program priority.

Distance Learning and Telemedicine Program Grants
Grants to help rural communities use advanced telecommunications technology to connect to each other, and the world, overcoming the effects of remoteness and low population density.

Rural Communities Opioid Response Program – Planning (RCORP – Planning)
Grants to support planning and preparation activities to create a strong base for substance use disorder (SUD) and related services and build capacity to develop, implement, and sustain these services. The funding is designed to serve as a critical first step to creating SUD service systems that make care easy to access, strengthen the behavioral health workforce, gain strong community support, and prepare communities to deliver prevention, treatment, recovery, and other supportive services over the long term.

Rural Community Health Support Program
A cooperative agreement with a single entity to develop, deliver, and coordinate nationally available technical assistance (TA) to support community organizations and rural health stakeholders serving rural populations.

Rural Residency Planning and Development Program
Grants to expand access to healthcare in rural areas by developing new sustainable rural residency programs, including rural track programs (RTPs). The program will provide start-up funding to create accredited rural residency programs in a qualifying medical specialty.

Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part C Capacity Development Grants
Funding to assist eligible entities to strengthen their organizational infrastructure and to increase their capacity to develop, enhance, or expand access to high quality HIV primary healthcare services for low-income and rural communities.

Technology-Enabled Collaborative Learning Program
Funding to evaluate, develop, and expand the use of technology-enabled collaborative learning and capacity building models for healthcare providers and other professionals. The program is designed to improve retention of healthcare providers and increase access to healthcare services in rural areas, frontier areas, Health Professional Shortage Areas, Medically Underserved Areas, for Medically Underserved Populations, and for Native Americans.
